X launches second-degree reply controls powered by binary fuse filters

X has released second-degree reply controls for everyone. The feature was popular with premium users. The implementation relies on an efficient service for intersecting uncapped follow graphs by @slopiver and binary fuse filters by @lemire. A detailed technical writeup is promised for next week.
