Meta Engineer Asks Model Labs to Train Agents to Turn Screenshots into UI Scripts

Vjeux, a well-known Meta software engineer, publicly asked model labs to add training data where agents read a screenshot and produce a program that reads on-screen elements. He argues this is extremely useful for scripting UIs, but current models are bad at it — highlighting a real capability gap in screenshot-driven UI automation.
