Google open-sources zero-trust agent template to block production prompt injections
Saboo_Shubham_ · x · 2026-08-22
Google released an open-source zero-trust agent template built on the Agent Development Kit (ADK). The post argues that system prompts alone cannot stop agents from being exploited in production (e.g., via "ignore previous instructions" attacks causing unauthorized refunds or key leaks). The template demonstrates how to build autonomous support and refund agents that connect to real databases and APIs securely using isolation and permission controls.
