EnvHarness adapts environments dynamically, boosting SWE-bench scores

A new Google paper introduces EnvHarness to address the static environment ceiling in agent training. Unlike static benchmarks, EnvHarness uses EnvRigger to dynamically reshape the environment around agent weaknesses (e.g., blocking shortcuts) while keeping the original task intact. On SWE-bench Verified, this method increased issue resolution rates to 54.79%, outperforming both original and generated environments.
