Japan Invests Additional $940M in Rapidus for 2nm Chip Production

Japan will invest an additional $940 million in domestic chipmaker Rapidus. The company needs 5 trillion yen to build advanced facilities for full-scale production of next-gen 2nm chips. Securing 2 trillion yen in lending allows the investment to move forward.
