Dev builds 'Will It Fit?' app with Gemini Robotics: photos tell you if the sofa fits
AI_Andrew · x · 2026-08-22
Developer Andrew Voirol used the latest Gemini Robotics model inside Google AI Studio to build "Will It Fit?" — upload a photo of your furniture and a photo of the doorway/space, and the AI tells you whether it fits. You can also generate furniture images from text with Imagen 4.0.
The project is open-sourced on GitHub (React + Vite + Tailwind): clone, add a free Gemini API key, and run npm run dev. It's now synced with AI Studio's new bi-directional sync.
