US ban on foreign robots strands startups, requires 65% US parts

The FCC added foreign-made robots to its Covered List, banning new models unless assembled in the US with at least 65% domestic components by value. Aimed at cutting reliance on Chinese supply chains, the policy is stranding US startups as domestic alternatives do not yet exist.
