OpenAI Backs Preventative Control Laws, but Industry Practices Lag Behind

OpenAI has spoken out in favor of laws requiring preventative control measures. However, current industry practices are reported to be much weaker than that bar, with even the top-scoring company receiving only a 3-out-of-5 rating on their preventative controls.
