GitHub turns Microsoft Teams discussions into shared Copilot agent sessions
Codeblix_Ltd · reddit · 2026-08-22
GitHub launched a Microsoft Teams integration that converts channels, threads, or DMs into shared Copilot cloud-agent sessions. Participants can ask questions and steer the work, while users with write access can authorize Copilot to make changes. The session runs in a secure cloud sandbox, and artifacts can be continued in the terminal, Copilot app, or an IDE. Admins can require extra approval for PRs merged from the Teams integration identity.
