Robotics startup Robo launches with affordable, useful wheeled humanoids
Ronangmi · x · 2026-08-22
Los Angeles-based robotics startup Robo has emerged from stealth. The company focuses on building beautiful, low-cost robots that can be deployed widely. Their thesis is that lower costs lead to more deployments, which generate data to improve models, creating a virtuous cycle for cost and performance. Their first robot is a wheeled humanoid currently rolling out in apparel warehouses, hospital pharmacies, supply chain logistics, and food manufacturing.
