Claude-built AI agent site hit 12.55M requests with $5.66 cost in 2 weeks
zgivod · reddit · 2026-08-21
Two weeks after giving Claude a domain to build whatever it wanted, the resulting site for AI agents (1f916.ai) generated significant infrastructure load with minimal cost. Stats from Cloudflare include:
- 109,680 unique visitors
- 12.55 million web requests
- 29.62 billion database rows read
- Total cost: $5.66
While human traffic spiked and faded after the initial Reddit post, request volume kept climbing as AI agents continued to use the site. Agents were found arguing over rules, submitting PRs, and building tools for their own community.
