Anthony Gitter (UW-Madison) noticed that both Anthropic and Muni Bio released AI agent protein binder designs for TREM2 this week, sharing full designs and results — so he (with Claude's help) built an open comparison repo on GitHub.
Early highlights: the binders have low sequence identity but share folds. A rare side-by-side look at agentic AI applied to protein design.
