xAI Launches Grok Bot: AI Teammates That Log Into Your Tools and Do Real Work
tetsuoai · x · 2026-08-22
xAI officially announced Grok Bot (early beta): AI teammates you can hand real work to. Bots sign in to your tools and websites, use them like you would, and come back with finished work — available on macOS, with teammate-style tasking on iOS.
Key capabilities:
- Teach by showing: have a Bot follow along as you run a workflow once; it saves it as a routine and runs it autonomously next time.
- Parallel multi-Bot work: run several Bots at once (one on a project, one on outbound, one on systems); they work in parallel, hand work between each other, keep context, and only come back when approval is needed.
- Persistent memory: Bots retain how you work and business context (e.g., a client only signs annual deals, who approves), getting smarter over time.
- Prebuilt roles include sales outbound, talent scout, paid media, expense manager, bug reproduction, and chief of staff.
The product is in early beta with a macOS download and enterprise sales contact.
