Elon Musk reshared an update on xAI's coding agent Grok Build. Community notes on v1.0.8 highlight:
- Concurrent subagents launch much faster and no longer freeze the parent session
- Opening many subagents no longer hangs the UI while loading history
- Follow-up messages send immediately even while a task is running
- Ctrl+S stashes your prompt draft for later task switching
- /workflow autocompletes saved workflows
- MCP servers can request form input or URL consent via the normal popup
The official page shows Grok Build now powered by Grok 4.6, with skills, plugin marketplaces, hooks, MCP support and plan mode; free to try and installable via curl -fsSL https://x.ai/cli/install.sh | bash.
