Webuildscore claims its model recovers centimeter-level ball tracking (bounce, stump height, swing, deviation, speed) from a single 20-30s broadcast clip. Nathan Leamon, ex-Senior Data Scientist at the ECB, confirmed 92% of length predictions land within 30 cm and 95% of bounce-y within 3 cm — for context, a ball is 7cm across and stumps 22cm wide.
The goal: bring Hawkeye-level precision, once requiring dedicated multi-camera rigs, to every level of the game.
