Starcloud raises $250M at $2.3B valuation to build AI compute in orbit

Space-compute startup Starcloud announced a $250M round at a $2.3B valuation, led by Manhattan West, with new investors including NVIDIA (NVentures), Cisco Investments, Cedar Capital, Goanna Capital and Standard Capital, plus continued backing from Benchmark, EQT Ventures, Soma Capital, NFX and SevenSevenSix.
Next week the company moves into a new 100,000 sq ft facility, aiming to ramp production to 100 satellites per week to deploy AI compute capacity in orbit.
