Dev open-sources Tooldex: one dashboard to discover MCP servers across coding agents

An indie developer released Tooldex (available on PyPI), a local-first MCP server discovery dashboard. It supports Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, Docker MCP Toolkit, Copilot, VSCode and more — run tooldex run and it opens a dashboard answering "which MCP servers are reachable from this repo and what tools do they expose?"
For security, Tooldex includes YARA-based static analysis plus an opt-in LLM-as-a-judge tool scanner (built on Cisco AI Defense's open-source repo; you supply your own LLM API key). Everything runs and stays on your machine. The author built it to track MCP servers across multiple coding agents and is seeking feedback on Reddit.
