Big week for AI routers: Stripe acquired leading LLM router OpenRouter for a reported $7.5B (founded by OpenSea co-founder Alex Atallah); the same week Merge launched Merge for Workforce (claiming 75x fewer tokens) and Ramp bought router.com for its own Router product. The author argues automatically getting the right intelligence at the lowest price will be a huge market.
