Anthropic releases protein binder design dataset with wet lab validation
anshulkundaje · x · 2026-08-21
Anthropic has released the claude-protein-binder-design dataset on Hugging Face, comprising over 361k rows. It includes wet lab measurements, protein structures, Predicted Aligned Errors (PAEs), and design prompts. The author highlights the effectiveness of the ipSAE metric for binding affinity evaluation, providing PAEs from 10 co-folding models to facilitate the discovery of better metrics. The dataset is open-sourced under the CC BY 4.0 license.
