LLMRouter: Open-source library balances cost and quality with 16 routing methods
adnan_hashmi · x · 2026-08-21
LLMRouter is an open-source library designed to route queries to suitable LLMs instead of defaulting to the most expensive model. It balances response quality and inference cost using 16 routing methods (e.g., KNN, SVM, Elo, graph-based). It features a unified CLI for training/inference, supports single/multi-round/multimodal/agentic routing, and includes a data generation pipeline from 11 benchmarks.
