Endless project exploits Codex mechanism for infinite inference
flowersslop · x · 2026-08-21
An experimental tool called Endless has been released to maximize Codex subscription value. It exploits a mechanism where Codex allows an in-progress turn to continue even after hitting 100% usage. By initiating a turn and giving the agent a waitforuserinput tool, the session stays alive within a single turn, potentially enabling infinite inference. The author warns of potential bans.
