Open Source 'codex-router' Injects Multiple Models into Codex
socialwithaayan · x · 2026-08-21
An open-source tool called codex-router enables users to bypass the limitation of using only GPT models within the Codex app. It injects providers like Grok, Kimi, DeepSeek, and Claude directly into the native model picker. The tool utilizes OAuth for each provider, eliminating the need for API keys, and ensures the existing ChatGPT login and GPT models remain untouched.
