GitHub Offers Free Copilot Pro to Top Open Source Maintainers

GitHub staff Martin Woodward revealed that hundreds of thousands of maintainers of popular open source projects currently receive complimentary Copilot Pro. GitHub also works with key open source foundations to sponsor GitHub Enterprise and Copilot Enterprise for their maintainers. Other support includes free orgs, actions, security scanning, and unlimited collaborators on public repos.
