OpenAI GPT-Image-2 Can Now Generate Images Without a Background

OpenAI is previewing transparent background support for GPT-Image-2 via API. The alpha channel is baked in during generation, which OpenAI claims outperforms conventional post-processing background removal. The feature is activated with a single parameter.
