RulesAsPrograms: Turn rules into code to check agent compliance
yuntiandeng · x · 2026-08-21
The author introduced RulesAsPrograms, a tool designed to ensure coding agents follow user-specified rules. Instead of hoping agents comply, the tool converts rules into functions that actively check the agent's output. For instance, it can enforce the use of a custom Parquet writer. The user has successfully integrated it into the Cursor editor.
