Unitree Releases 7-Axis Robotic Arm Priced at $1471

Unitree has launched its first product since its IPO: the R1 bionic 7-axis dexterous robotic arm, paired with the Dex2/5 dexterous hand. Weighing 5.5kg, it starts at 9,900 RMB ($1471). Unitree claims that dual-arm collaboration enables material sorting and assembly, making it suitable for research and education. The Dex2/5 hand features a 10-DOF tendon-driven design and has passed over 100,000 fatigue tests.
