Cloudera and NVIDIA extended their partnership to bring native GPU acceleration to Apache Spark 4.1 via Cloudera Anywhere Cloud. Powered by NVIDIA cuDF, the feature offloads heavy data processing to GPUs, claiming up to 4x speedup over CPU-based setups without code changes. Cloudera highlights that for many organizations, the AI bottleneck is now data processing speed rather than model capabilities.
