Open-source ai-job-search hits 32k stars: a local Claude Code framework for the whole job hunt
lxfater · x · 2026-08-21
The open-source ai-job-search project (32.6k stars, 11.5k forks) is an AI job-application framework that runs entirely on your machine, built on Claude Code. Fork it, fill in your profile, and Claude will:
- Evaluate job postings against your profile
- Create and tailor your CV
- Write cover letters
- Prep you for interviews
The repo also ships a job scraper, salary lookup tool, templates, and a skills directory, with a fork-and-own philosophy for data autonomy. It is independent of Anthropic, which is referenced only for the toolchain.
