Apple Music to Mandate 'Made With AI' Labels Later This Year

Apple Music will begin adding a "Made With AI" label to songs created using AI platforms later this year.
Key Details:
- Record labels and distributors are required to tag songs where "a material portion of the content" was created by AI.
- This follows Apple Music's March introduction of AI Transparency Tagging, which tracks AI usage in the service's systems.
Apple stated that content providers are best positioned to know how their content was created and will be important partners in implementing the labels.
