Codex builds tiny Mac utilities in 2 minutes to fix long-standing annoyances

The author shares using OpenAI Codex to fix small Mac pain points: Finder still has no right-click "new text file" option, and the annotation app Presentify won't let you rebind ⌘+Z to a single key — Codex wrote a background Mac app for that in about two minutes. The takeaway: Codex is great for building tiny custom Mac utilities for all sorts of idiosyncratic needs.
