Google Discover gets a chatbot interface to customize your feed
The Verge AI · rss · 2026-08-21
Google is adding an AI customization feature to the Discover feed in the Google app, rolling out in the "coming days." Accessed via the three-dot menu, it opens a chatbot-style interface where you describe your preferences; the bot confirms your choices, lays out the content types it will prioritize, and lets you add more info. Preferences are "remembered" for future visits.
