InSAR and unsupervised learning detect urban construction progress from space
anselm · x · 2026-08-21
This paper uses InSAR coherence combined with unsupervised learning to detect when urban construction projects start, stall, or finish, using only Sentinel-1 radar imagery. This approach allows for the identification of construction progress before changes appear on maps.
