Fixing LTX 2.5 smearing: Ported custom nodes and workflow
SillyLilithh · reddit · 2026-08-21
Addressing the severe smearing issue in LTX 2.5, the author ported a set of nodes originally designed for MiniMax H3 to work with LTX 2.3/2.5 in ComfyUI. The technique uses a "jerk oracle" to detect smearing per frame, generates extra "hold" frames for resampling, and then trims them back to the original count. This workflow significantly improves temporal stability, closing the gap with MiniMax H3. The custom nodes and workflow are available on GitHub.
