Arc Institute Launches 2026 Virtual Cell Challenge for Perturbation Response Prediction
anshulkundaje · x · 2026-08-21
Arc Institute has launched its 2026 Annual Virtual Cell Challenge to advance the prediction of how cells respond to perturbations. Arc teams generated high-quality single-cell CRISPRi perturbation data across 6 cell types specifically for this year's competition. The challenge asks participants to achieve experimental accuracy in zero-shot prediction of cell responses when targeting specific genes.
