AllThingsApx · x · 2026-08-21
Arc Institute, sponsored by NVIDIA and 10x Genomics, launched the 2026 Virtual Cell Challenge to standardize benchmarks for cellular ML models. This year's zero-shot task requires predicting CRISPRi knockdown responses in unseen cell lines without a released training set. The $100,000 challenge is open for registration, following last year's event with over 1,200 participating teams.
