Waymo Cuts Hardware to $20k, Tesla Aims for Cybercab COGS Under $20k

Reports indicate Waymo has reduced 6th-gen Robotaxi hardware costs to $20k via vertical integration (including a custom 5nm chip), down from $115k. Meanwhile, Tesla plans to push the total COGS of its Cybercab below $20k by the end of next year.
