The OpenAI Foundation has kicked off its first major hiring round to build a team that defines its future and translates AI capabilities into real-world public benefit. The open roles span two key areas:
- AI for Civil Society and Philanthropy: Positions include AI Deployment Engineer, Director of AI Opportunity Development, and Product Manager for AI-Native Philanthropy, aimed at deploying AI for social good.
- AI Resilience: Roles include Chief of Staff, Head of Econ Lab, and Program Directors for Formal Methods and AI Model Safety, focusing on addressing AI challenges and safety.
All roles are based in San Francisco.
