Heart patient builds a Claude fitness coach that reads his meds, calendar, and Oura data weekly

@dsp takes heart medication, which most workout apps ignore — so he built his own, first as a web app and later had Claude port it to a native iOS app. Every week Claude creates a workout plan based on his available equipment, medication, Calendar, and Oura data, and it works pretty well.
In the replies, @mattslotnick shares his own twist on his Claude coach "app": a scheduled weekly look-back where Claude surfaces trends or anomalous behavior to feed into future plans, plus a monthly roundup of new training research to mine for ideas — overkill for an amateur, he admits, but fun.
