Lenny's builds a Grok bot on 500+ episodes via MCP as a personal growth advisor
lennysan · x · 2026-08-20
Lenny, author of Lenny's Newsletter, shares a setup: create a Grok Bot wired to his 500+ podcast episodes and newsletter posts through a custom MCP connector, then treat it as your product/strategy/growth/career advisor — asking things like "How do I find my first 1,000 users?", "What are non-obvious growth ideas?", or "How do I deliver hard feedback?"
He includes the concrete prompt: the bot installs the custom MCP connector using the native connector flow (open the authorization link, complete email sign-in, enable and verify), not a local config file. One user quickly set it up and wired Lenny's bot into their own GTM bot workflow as an external premium consultant.
