How a CTO Ships with AI Agents: Prototyping as Leadership
AI Engineer · youtube · 2026-08-20
Hursh Agrawal, CTO of The Browser Company, shares how he maintains high output (2-10 PRs/week) while managing by using AI Agents. His core workflow is an "overnight loop":
- 5 PM: A Co-worker agent gathers context from Slack and the Issue Tracker into a prompt for a Coding Agent.
- Morning: He reviews the generated code, PRs, and test results.
He uses this not just for features, but also for hill-climbing prompts against feedback dumps and training small classifiers end-to-end. He argues this "Prototyping as Leadership" approach helps managers calibrate new model capabilities and steer engineering teams with working prototypes instead of arguments.
