AI chip startup Etched raises $700M led by Jane Street at $21B valuation

AI chip startup Etched, founded by Harvard dropouts, has raised a new $700 million funding round led by quant-trading firm Jane Street, valuing the company at $21 billion. Jane Street has also signed on as Etched's first customer. The company operates its own in-office data center.
