Prediction: Industry will return to unhobbled AI, bypassing alignment and safety layers

The author predicts that current AI restrictions are temporary. In a few months, people will run pre-mid-2025 models without ridiculous security layers. The industry will shift back to making unhobbled AI that isn't trying to align with every law or safety theory. He argues that alignment and value judgments are the main reasons models are getting worse, and dropping this "arbitrary bullshit" is the only way for the US to outpace China.
