Musk: Grok Bot has its own remote cloud computer, keeps working after device reboot
elonmusk · x · 2026-08-20
Elon Musk revealed that Grok Bot runs on a dedicated remote computer @SpaceXAI, allowing it to continue working even if the user closes their laptop or reboots. Unlike self-hosted alternatives like OpenClaw and Hermes, Grok Bot is provisioned by SpaceXAI with one computer per account rather than per agent. This means all bots share the same files and browser logins, enabling seamless handoff between agents without re-login or file transfers.
