rohanpaul_ai · x · 2026-08-20
Deft, a new AI writing lab co-founded by Josh (jmrphy), has launched a public beta. The model aims to produce text that mimics human writing styles, with Pangram detecting 86% of user queries as fully human-generated. Currently a small beta model, it performs better in analysis, essays, and creative writing than in marketing copy. The lab shared a launch announcement written by the Deft model itself.
