Claude can now send and reply to Gmails without approval
emmanuelvivier · x · 2026-08-20
Anthropic has expanded Claude's Google Workspace connector, allowing the AI to send, reply to, and forward emails directly in Gmail.
Users can instruct Claude to draft and send replies. While approval is requested by default, settings can be adjusted to allow sending without confirmation. Team and Enterprise admins can control whether members can enable these auto-actions. This feature is currently limited to paid Claude plans.
