Gemini integrates into Android Chrome in the US with auto-browse
emmanuelvivier · x · 2026-08-20
Google has fully rolled out Gemini integration in Chrome for Android users in the US. Accessible via a toolbar shortcut, the AI assistant can summarize pages, answer contextual questions, and edit images via Nano Banana integration.
Subscribers to Google AI Pro and Ultra gain access to "auto browse," allowing the AI to agentically handle tedious tasks like booking parking or updating orders, with explicit confirmation required for sensitive actions.
