Lack of S3 details sparks sovereignty concerns, EU needs rival

Citing the lack of public implementation details for S3 and the absence of good self-hosted alternatives, this post argues this situation is bad for digital sovereignty. It calls for the EU to build a serious S3 competitor to reduce reliance on a single cloud giant.
