Experiment: Building an AI Agent with a Knowledge 'Brain'
dfinke · x · 2026-08-20
The author is hosting a live experiment to explore giving AI agents a persistent knowledge library they can organize, search, and retrieve. The goal is to move beyond disposable interactions by implementing a 'library plus librarian' concept. The experiment uses a minimal harness, five basic tools, Markdown, and an LLM to see how little machinery is needed for an AI to compound knowledge owned by the user.
