Baidu_Inc · x · 2026-08-20
Uber launched Baidu’s Apollo Go autonomous vehicles in Dubai, allowing riders to book fully driverless UberX and Comfort trips via the app in Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim. Riders can select a dedicated "Autonomous" option to increase their chances. This launch marks the first time the Uber-Baidu partnership has gone live for riders. Dubai serves as the starting point for plans to scale thousands of Apollo Go vehicles across Uber’s global network.
