Alibaba presents PILOT, an LLM-agent framework that proactively designs and runs A/B experiments for recommender systems. It features an Experiment Manager, Search Planner, and Memory Curator to enable user-segment-level personalization and distill reusable methodologies. It has been deployed on Taobao.
